I have attended this school for almost 7 years now, the school is decent if you ask me. However there are some issues it also faces, some of them being: food portions on lunch being too small I also should add that most of the school lunches aren't really good so I really think you should improve that. Another issue in the school is the no phones rule and yes I know that is a very popular rule in a lot of schools but that rule is just stupid the only reason i got for it a while back is that we would use them too much. Which is a basic reason that doesn't give you much understanding of the rule. What makes that rule even more ridiculous is that the high school can use them and you are saying that we can't?! What's the actual difference besides grades 4 - 7 using them and the high school like can someone actually explain that? Other argument i got against using phones is that we would not talk to each other and just use our phone every break, however in my opinion we should be able to use them as we would then socialize in a more enjoyable way that make us wanna talk to each other even more because we would recognise that as something fun that we want to do. The way it is handled now is we get told to "hide your phones and talk to each other". You can't just force a good conversation like that, it doesn't function this way you'd never get a good, normal and non-akward conversation like that. That's why i think this rule should be completely removed And the last issue im gonna mention here is that after swimming classes we can't use the vending machine at the swimming pool reception, like just why? Kids that just came back from 2 hours of swimming can't buy food now! Just let us buy that one little snack. That one quick snack from the vending machine is still better then the low quality school lunch most students don't even eat I also have submitted some pictures of the school lunches below for others to see what we are being fed. However there are also some positives of the school, for example: most of the teachers are fairly nice, you can learn really good English in this school and the breaks are mostly a lot of fun.
