This place is very much about niggardness and extreme polarity. Symbol of which is a very old coffe maker and kettle used to serve hot drinks during wedding. And general quality of tea and coffee - it was more of lower shelf popular brands, at least one shelf too low for that kind of hotel (and compared to foods). Same with beer - compared with relatively interesting wine shelf, having one popular brand on tap seems way out of proportion. With at least 3 local brewieries in vincity almost a sin. Generally the one good thing is the food - especially desserts (those little mascapones or tiramisus were really tasty and properly sweetened). Cold plates and hot dishes were reasonable - nothing too fancy, but a good standard. But that is where the trouble starts. I suppose the niggardness is not about intent tightfistedness but resulting from the Covid situation and loans. It shows in two ways - first the personnel - young and friendly people, but missing experience and guidance serving a coffee took minutes and the idea og mopping a sticky floor with just water to make it more slippery also seems quite suprising. Plus missing a lightbulb in men's room (and also no one willing to exchange it - or maybe no lightbulb in stock?) - unless it was a planned challenge for the guests. And my top favourite, the gastronomy 101 - clean table cloths. The reality was those were either missing or stained, like a a bib of a toddler after a good meal. The bigger problem was infrastructure. Rooms were missing proper heating and ventillation - hence mould and mildew on the bathroom ceiling, and hydraulical problems with run-off - shower needed to be take really quick, before the water overfilled the showerbase. Also the idea of putting bottled water to a room but not providing opened - another thing proving lack of vision and experience on the part of staff. As conclusion one could say - a huge missed potential. One best example is the ecclectic style of the palace - with all those pseudo ancient egyptian frescos and stuccos, combined with pseudo bizantine mosaic and hunter style country hunter lodge plus a little bit of Louis style chairs and local folk sculptures. Pretty fascinating mix but creating a unique feeling. And beautiful park, which would really use a dedicated gardener. Experienced manager and better breweries (including teapot and coffemaker) plus a visit from a plumber and a builder could do the trick.

Fajne miłe miejsce polecam się przejechać po zwiedzać i puść na obiad.
