Fantastic customer support GotTuned supplied both my hybrid turbo and downpipe. Robert has been extremely helpful to get the best result possible. I have bought several turbochargers over the years from various suppliers. By several, I mean hundreds. When it comes to custom turbos that I have had built...I usually get good quality from the suppliers I use...bot sometimes not. GotTuned is extremely consistent in supplying what I want and need with a high level of quality and a fair price. I recommend them all the time, because they deliver as advertised. I wouldnt sully my reputation with a company that isnt top notch. Fortuitously, GotTuned is in fact upper echelon...and I feel comfortable recommending them to clients.

Here is my feedback on the new GTD1752VRK installed on my 2003 ALH Jetta. I ended up getting the GTD1752VRK Billet Wheel Hybrid Turbo vacuum converted and welded onto stock 1.9 2.0TDI from GotTuned.com Robert from GotTuned was a pleasure to work with and the turbo arrived here on the Northern Canada all the way from Poland only 3 days after I purchased it. Fab workmanship was great. The install was very easy, almost plug and play after removing the 1722. Only required a very small modification to my downpipe to cut the existing flange and weld on a V-clamp flange (that comes with the kit) to bolt on the exhaust to the DP. Its super nice to have the V-clamp flange instead of the goofy 3 bolt triangular flange all the other turbos have. Makes the fit much easier to install and gives it a little play in the rotation. The IC pressure connection only required a longer leg 45 silicon elbow to bolt on directly to my existing IC piping from where my 1722 connection was. I bolted the 45 silicon elbow to my existing 1.8t pancake pipe which makes the install super easy with long 45* silicon elbow. My power set up is: -RC5 28 psi tuned for the GTD1752VRK -11mm injection pump -Ported head w/ stage 2 cam -New PP502 nozzles installed and balanced by Drivebywire -3 bar MAP -Eurojet SMIC -PD Lift pump -Larger Oil cooler -PD 150 Intake manifold, TIP & Airbox Car is sooo nice to drive. I so much enjoy driving it again ... Specially after taking off my 18" RCs and installing new 16" OZ Ultraleggeras with streets tires... I previously used those with track tires on my Golf track set up. This set up drives so nice on the freeway now. Very gradual power and no smoke at all... The PP502s tamed it down a tiny bit on the power after replacing the R520 injectors that were in there before.... but super nice to have almost no smoke at all. The acceleration is strong and steady ... not as much of a beast, harsh & noisy acceleration as it was with the R520s nozzles but super smooth and so much nicer without smoke. This turbo spools up super fast... much nicer response than the 1722s I had for many years. Also I go the ceramic bearings and this turbo is crazy fast spooling compared to the 1722... also it keeps spooling for a long time after turning off the car... quite unusual and fun for me to hear the turbo keeping spooling after turning it off .. .very little friction at all on the shaft Bottom line.. I love this turbo ... for those who want fast and reliable power on a daily driver ...super fun to drive .. I highly recommend this turbo... a 1722 taken to the next level ! Of course, if you want to build a beast or a track car, he has many other options with much more power to select from.
