If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The experience my husband and I had at this hospital, on the evening of January 20, was almost impossible to believe. The receptionist didn't speak English and couldn't verify I had insurance even though I repeatedly pointed out to her the number that she needed to use. We needed someone to help translate for us so, when we realized the other woman sitting in the Reception area spoke English, naturally we asked her. She leaped up from her chair and started literally screaming at us that she was a doctor and didn't check insurance. She acted like a crazy woman. I said that, if she was a doctor, she had an obligation to help me because I was so ill. She ignored me and continued to scream. My husband thought she didn't understand us so he called a Polish friend to translate. When he offered his phone to the doctor, she threw it back in his face and continued to scream, at the top of her voice, that she didn't do insurance. It was at that point we decided that there was no way we wanted a doctor like this to treat me. She was abrasive, rude, and completely unprofessional. We took my insurance information and left. On the way out, I stopped to ask her name so I could let all the expats in Warsaw know how they will be treated at this hospital. I feel we were definitely discriminated against because we are foreigners. She stamped her name on a paper and told me she wasn't afraid of anything. This is particularly frightening because it tells me that the administration of this hospital isn't at all concerned about the manner in which their doctors treat patients. This woman deserves to be censured for her treatment of us. Her name is DR. ELŹBIETA EWA HASS.
