This place is a tremendous resource for the community. They catch all kinds of great stuff which would otherwise be discarded and provide a place for others to find it. From construction materials to furniture, appliances and tools. Sometimes the items are brand new and people just didn't have space for them anymore. They reduce waste and provide a lower-cost way to get quality products all while doing it for charity.
