Staff was very nice but clothes were stained and i was very upset over that. I purchased clothes off a live sale they did and they NEVER mentioned they had stains all over them, if I hadnt of looked at them when i got to my car I wouldnt have seen it until i had driven the 30 minutes it takes me to get home, they also wouldnt let me fully return the items so i had to spend time looking around for exchanges and when i was looking many of the clothes were stained that were on the racks. Yes these are used clothes but they need better quality control. Wont be returning or purchasing off the live sales again

I absolutely love this Once Upon A Child! Lindsay and her team are always so friendly. The store is never cluttered and very clean. Clean to the point that you can smell the cleanliness in the air when you walk in the door (very rare). I will continue traveling down to Richmond just to shop at this particular location. Thank you Lindsay and team!!!
Dear Ms. Damron, Our register system does not charge sales tax on gift cards because these are not taxable. The state does require us to tax any sales of tangible goods. We have interviewed both the shift leader on duty and the sales person with whom you interacted on that day, and they tell us that the issue in question was not a gift card but a $5 Baby Buck coupon. This is a coupon we give you during certain promotions to use in the store like cash. As with cash, once you use that Baby Buck to purchase an item at our store, that item purchase is taxable, whether you use a Baby Buck, cash, a credit card or a gift card. The tax charged on that item purchased is set by state and local regulations, and the money is sent to the state, it does not remain with us. Our staff did not do anything incorrectly and attempted to explain this to you. We are sorry that we could not explain the state law to your satisfaction.

Neither employee or manager knew how 2 address my question on why I am being tax on a gift card!! Out of 3 employees, someone should have knew how to address my question. Only answer I received was "that's what our system shows". #wronganswer #overchargingcustomers Update: I could not respond to whom I figure is the manager, If I incorrectly stated gift card, and it was baby bucks, doesn't take away the fact that the employees you interviewed and you state done nothing incorrectly, actually did do something incorrectly. As a customer, if I question a manager or leader on why I am being charged a certain amount, I would like to get a better answer than "that's just what our system shows". So to blatantly say they did nothing incorrectly, is inadequate. And what you explained here, was never said in that store that day, as you state they tried to explain to me. And to say, "Sorry we couldn't explain the state law to your liking", is unacceptable. No need to talk to me like that. Take that same energy and use it to update your employees on the state law.
