Its very exciting to see this piece by Michael Heizer in person! You may recognize it from Fight Club when Bob is attempting to start a fight with a stranger. This was also seen in the bank robbery at the end of Heat. A noticeable difference is that glass walls and doors have been added between the columns, and it used to be an open air foyer. Pictures dont really capture how huge these are! Its very accessible too. This foyer is open to the public. It was empty when I took these pics because of the pandemic and a heat wave driving many people to the beaches.
