Our installation manager reviewed that information and wished to communicate the quote with you directly so that he could make a final and thorough assessment and if any other parts or relevant information were relevant that might affect either the quote itself, or the effective running of the tap, once installed, for example, your water pressure. Good luck ordering anything from here! I've never written a review before in my life, but this was just exceptionally bad customer service, I've never seen anything like it... For some unknown reason, you do manage to order something, l doubt you will ever get customer service from them. ------------------------------ I replied and provided all the information kindly requested by yourselves more than a week ago (not 4 days). Sent out two emails to which l did not get a reply and called twice to talk to the person dealing with it, didn't get acknowledged or a callback. Lets just say l wasn't lucky enough to experience your pride and glory customer service. But you have kindly responded to my review which l very much appreciate, thank you. As you could have responded with a generic reply to protect yourselves, rather than this beautifully typed apology. Kindest regards N
Dear Marc I am very sorry to read your feedback and that you are unhappy with the service received from Modus. You supplied a list of 5 appliance codes which you wanted us to quote and order. These were taken directly by you from the manufacturers website, and the image that you are referring to with the left hinged fridge was also on the manufacturers website rather than the Modus website. We are sorry that the item received was not to your satisfaction, and as soon as we knew this we contacted the manufacturer to organise a return. The manufacturer initially refused to accept the return as the original packaging had been thrown away. The appliance manufacturers Terms & Conditions are separate from our own but we can say with absolute certainty that Modus working practices are always fully compliant with the law. Sadly issues sometimes arise and Modus will always do everything we can to resolve them, as our customers are our number one priority. As such, we have now concluded our discussion with the manufacturer and I am very pleased to confirm we have agreed a full exchange for the correct item. Would stay away. We ordered several kitchen appliances through them. Received the wrong goods. We explicitly asked for a left hinged door and they are now hiding behind the fact that the SKU number refers to a right hinged fridge. Even though the picture on the website is left hinged and we asked for a left hinged one. Why use these guys in that case? Might as well order online! They also insist on illegal business terms. For example insisting on receiving the original packaging back, which is in violation of U.K. law. Overall deeply disappointing.
A friend recommend I pop into Modus for my kitchen. I was hesitant as I thought they would be expensive. Not only were the staff welcoming and put me at my ease they were more then able to cater to my budget and work with the small compact space I had. I would highly recommend them.
Just had my kitchen installed by Modus. Buying my kitchen was becoming a tedious task, I did not know where to start. What brands, how to design, what will I need. Modus were great and helped me through the whole process, throughly recommend these guys.
