The entire staff looks like they were trained on another planet. They make it clear to the customer both when you call and show up that they have absolutely no interest in helping you and they want you out of their hair as quick as possible.
I've never shopped at a lumber yard so I didn't know what to expect. I was quite hesitant to go without my husband. The staff here were so welcoming and extremely helpful. They had everything I needed in stock. I highly recommend them!
My first experience at B&B was good. Im a novice and picked up woodworking as a hobby. So it was time to step it up and work with some hardwood. My goal was a cutting board so I chose walnut and hard maple. The selection of hardwood was a bit overwhelming but thats a good thing. This nice gentleman assisted me throughout and took the time and looked for good boards for me that had very little bow in them and loaded them in my car. He was extremely helpful. It was really cold that day so they let me in the office to pay and offered me a free t-shirt. I really wish they didnt have a trump sign up. But it is what it is. They provided great service. My husband will just have to wait in the car if i have to pick up more than I can carry.
Worst customer service EVER! We bought a table from the showroom and asked for the natural cracks to be sealed and finished. The salesman told us that would be no problem. I got a call later that day that the table would be ready in a week. After a week went by, (no one called me) I called to check on the status. I was told it wasnt finished drying and should be ready in a few more days. It needs a few coats, he said. A few days later I had to call again. This time I was told that the owner refused to finish the table as promised and that the salesman fibbed to us that the table was drying. So after waiting 2 weeks for nothing, I just asked for the table to be delivered, as is. Today we received the table and the delivery man came alone and needed my husbands help to carry it in the house. The base was not attached and he didnt bring the hardware to put the table together. When I bought the table I was told the table would be put together in our kitchen. We now have a 500lb piece of wood laying facedown on the kitchen floor. We will have to hire movers to help us put it together. This has been an awful, extremely frustrating experience. We still have to find someone to finish the surface!
