We had a fantastic experience throughout the year on the Explorers course. Me and Jack (11 years old) learnt so much about fire lighting, cutting, net making and lots more - with wonderful instruction from Ray, come rain or shine. We highly recommend this course.

Me and my son have been visiting Ray at Back to Wilderness for around 3 years now and absolutely love it! We have both learnt many new skills and has really made us look at our surrounding in a different way. Ray has wonderful way of teaching and a wealth of knowledge that is second to none. Can't recommend enough!!

Just did a foraging experience with Ray and it was beyond all expectations! He was informative and welcoming. He was humble and super funny, personable and professional. He adjusted to the needs of our group and catered to our personalities seamlessly. It's obvious he is passionate about his work and knows people really well to provide an experience that works for everyone involved. Genuinely amazing, would recommend Ray to absolutely everyone!!

A fantastic morning with Ray surviving in the great outdoors! We built a den, started (safe) fires and baked damper breads. A hugely enjoyable experience for all of us. Highly recommended.

Last week several members of staff at our centre did the Survival School Level 3 Wilderness Skills Range Instructor course with Ray. We all really enjoyed it and feel much more confident about setting it up and running it as a activity. I approached Ray as it was something we wanted to introduce but weren't sure how to go about it. He was really helpful explaining the set up procedure beforehand, the instruction was first class and he has continued to help us afterwards. I would defiantly recommend the course for anyone else looking to run axe throwing.
