Don't get me wrong. The doctor is good. The billing/ accounting is pathetic. They charged me wayyy more than I was supposed to pay. The lady saw I was new to the US and scammed me into paying triple the amount I actually owed. After 5 months of fighting and arguing, I got a hold of blue Cross and we confronted the Lady. They had apparently claimed 3 bills from blue Cross when they actually charged me twice. I was told I'll finally get a refund 3 weeks backs and I'm still waiting. I'm lucky that the lady spoke on a blue Cross recorded line but please DO NOT VISIT this 'clinic'. They did fix my vision but charged me wayyy more than I was supposed to and I have still not gotten the refund. Beware of Pilar.. she's the one who will scam you.
Wrote a poor review following Dr Gould's misdiagnosis of my child's optometry that i later found was a result of her lack of proper equipment on Yelp and Google which was followed by her personal harrassment of me firstly in person then by a phone call. Inappropriate and unprofessional.
My son came home from the school the other month complaining of headaches and not being able to see the board in class. My husband and I decided to take him to Gould Vision because it was highly recommended by a friend. The lovely staff helped my son get the perfect pair of glasses. Now he never complains of headaches!
First time visiting Gould Vision and it was a great experience. Dr. Gould is friendly, professional and caring. The staff was very helpful. Would highly recommend.
Dr Gould falsely represents herself as being a specialist in children's Optometry. while, nothing could be further from the truth. Although she technically is an optician/optometrist, she is most definitely not an ophthalmologist nor any sort of expert in children. She MISDIAGNOSED my 2 year old son in a MAJOR way, up sold us eyeglasses for him same day on the spot, when the exams she preformed were completely inadequate. Doubting her professionalism and skills we saw two ophthalmologist one at St Nicklaus hospital and another at Scrips clinic in California (with actual Surgeons/Ophthalmologists) that both noted Dr Gould is a joke if she could clearly not realize my son has perfect eyes sight. My son wore her eyeglasses for a full week, and it could have seriously damaged his eyes sight had we not questioned her practice. To top it all off she never dignified herself to return any of my several phone calls, some while sitting in the doctors office. Completely unprofessional and grounds for a malpractice suit! AVOID AT ALL COST!
