Sorry your experience was anything less than what you deserved and having been here before im sure your expectations were high. If my listening to what you wanted to order came accross as anything other than listening, it shoulden't have. And no, race has never and will never be a reason for the service given here.

I have gotten items customized here before but after the poor customer service today I will not be back. There was a older male at the counter when I walked in and there a customer that entered right behind me (Caucasian lady). The male asked how can I help you? but was looking at the lady behind me so I asked if he was addressing me because it did not appear that way. He stated yes as he glared at me as if I was from another planet. His whole demeanor was negative. I will not give my business to people like this.Id say if youre any other race besides Caucasian you should go elsewhere.
I have placed two orders through Embroid This, and both times have had issues not only with the services provided but with the general communication skills and customer service provided by the owner. The first order I placed was for embroidered hats and screen printed shirts. When I initially attempted to pick up the order, the hats had the wrong graphic on them and I was made to feel guilty for wanting the owner to correct the error and embroider the correct graphic I had provided when I placed the order. Additionally, during discussions prior to placing the order I was told the shirts would be screen printed, but instead we received digital transfers and the final invoice was higher than initially quoted. Thankfully, I had the initial quote in writing, but I still had to push back to get the pricing to match what was quoted. The second order was only for embroidered hats, and the only reason I returned to Embroid This after the first experience was that I had already paid the setup fee for the graphic. Unfortunately, some of the individuals taking part in this order required above average hat sizes that Embroid This did not stock, so the owner suggested that we place an order through an outside vendor and bring the hats to him to be embroidered with the rest of our order. Upon picking up the completed order I notice that there was an error in the embroidery on one of the hats which had come from the outside vendor caused either by the embroidery machine or by human error during the embroidery process. The owner's solution was to not charge me for the embroidery fee on that hat, and let me eat the cost of the hat they had ruined. Even after I pointed out that I was now out money for the hat that had the error, the owner's response was simply "yep..." I will not be returning to Embroid This. There are better options in the Rockford area with better quality and run by people who take care of their customers.
