I had them contest my residential property in 2020. I provided a binder packed full of evidence and pictures and they were not able to settle 1 cent less than appraisal. I've contested the property several times and was able to reduce every time by at least 5%..... Which tells me they didnt try. I'm not sure how they have almost 5 stars. What I dont understand is if you were not going to push for a reduction why take my case at all? I would have appreciated a "not worth it for us" or something before entering the contract with you at the begining of the process....

I feel like I could have done a way better job than this company. What makes me so mad is that this is such an important thing and whom ever was working on my properties just didn't care. When picking this company, we choose them because it's family owned. And has been around some time. But we were so wrong. We will be using a different company next year. Or maybe just do this myself. Do yourself a favor and please do your research before picking this company. I'm so mad right now, having to pay more for no reason!!

Novotny and Co performed a service I had not requested and then sent me a bill for 90 dollars. When I challenged and said I had not asked for the service they have persisted in claiming the 90 dollars and have now added financial charges. Do not deal with this company which is operating in an untrustworthy way.
