Beautiful store but I will not shop here again staff was not very friendly and seeing the use of caps lock attacking customers in these reviews makes me sure of my decision.
One of a special select places in New York. It's a fashion museum. The entire store is filled with vintage Chanel, YSL, Dior, Valentino, and literally the largest Japanese designer vintage clothing selection you will ever see. I go to Paris. I know what I"m talking about. This is super special. Be prepared to part with some cash. It's serious. It's not for the budget minded mostly, although they do have exquisite costume jewelry that is actually quite reasonable, I got a parisian bracelet for $120, Not Bad! And I wear it everywhere I go and get tons of compliments on it. I also have probably bought 3 Chanel rare bags here over the last couple of years. The owners are super nice and super knowledgeable about fashion. They really give great advice to anyone who asks and are not the types of are snobby like in a Chanel boutique. I don't like going to Chanel boutiques because you never know how you'll be treated. Here I am always treated really well (well, I'm also a regular customer which I guess doesn't hurt any!) If you are in New York this is always rated as a must stop for fashion. Everything is immaculate condition and as new. You will just die over the selection of fabulousness.
Very beautiful clothing and handbags in this location! It doesn't take long to get mesmerized and want to delve even deeper to see what other intricacies are available for display. I'm very interested in finding a new job that can fund my addiction to the merchandise here!
We were discussing a shoplifting incident. Please, you should have asked us what was going on as we were debating on calling the police. Shoplifting is a crime and destroys small stores. Next time, just ask us what the commotion is? 5 years you haven't been in? That says enough. Had you bothered to ask, I would have gladly addressed your concerns. Shoplifting is a huge problem, we knew she had shoplifted before. Would you want her in your store? If that's toxic, so be It. Yet you take the time to write gossip and are completely wrong about what took place. We would never do what you described here. You THOUGHT YOU HEARD THIS. I'm nearly 60 years old and don't engage in such nonsense. What you wrote reflects more on you. That you actually took the time to write such an untruth and what you thought you heard, well all I say that all 3 of us in store that day know what took place. I usually don't respond to things like this. But the woman in question had shoplifted a 5,000 diamond art deco English Estate Ring from our London dealer from the Estate Jewelry Cabinet in the store 4 months ago. We couldn't prove it as she had left, but we were in discussions about calling the police. Not trash talking anyone. The fact that you would actually write this is bizarre without knowing any facts and standing 20 feet away from a whispered discussion about what to do now that she came back. Shoplifting is a serious criminal offence. In this case it was Grand larceny a Felony to steal a $5,000 ring. I hope you now remove the review here and please come in and talk to me in person as an any concerned adult would've done.

Hi after not having been at Pilgrim in close to 5 years, I was there this past weekend - horrible toxic experience. soon after I walked in the owner & clerk began complaining & trash talking a customer who just walked out. Owner hardly looked at me & was incredibly rude. NEVER AGAIN - wonder what they said about me after I walked out. I couldn't bring my self to buy anything bc I can't give people like this my business.
