A nice place to live with all the amenities of a doorman building, but without the pretension of so many "luxury" apartments. The best prices you'll find in downtown Brooklyn. Getting through the co-op board is a hassle, but I haven't heard of them turning down qualified residents.

About Referred to as the last great deal in New York City and Brooklyns best kept secret, Concord Village was a Brooklyn pioneer when it converted from rental units to private cooperative ownership more than 30 years ago. The seven-acre complex comprises 1,023 apartments in seven 17-story buildings surrounded by landscaped grounds. Financially stable and amenity-rich, Concord Village offers an exceptional quality of life. Residents can participate in groups and activities geared to their interests and lifestyle. Location Parallel to the Brooklyn Bridge entrance, and bordered to the west by the Brooklyn Heights historical district, to the north by DUMBO, and to the east and south by a revitalized Downtown Brooklyn, Concord Village is superbly situated. In addition to the beautifully landscaped grounds, public parks abound. Cadman Plaza Park, Columbus Park and McLaughlin Park are steps away. Brooklyn Bridge Park, characterized by its exquisite view of the East River bridges and Manhattan skyline, is also a short walk from Concord Village. Access to transportation is unmatched.
