Really nice building but the staff is questionable. I was here visiting a friend who is a new resident at Flatiron and a small group of us decided to BBQ down by the pool. We had two miniature poodle/yorkies with us on leashes. No one else was at the pool area, just our small group of 6 when a very rude woman, I think by the name of Taylor, stormed inside the pool area and yelled out asking who's dogs they were. My friend who lived there spoke up since one the of dogs was hers. The woman then rudely and condescendingly shouted "Absolutely no dogs are allowed to be here!" We asked, "Not even on a leash?" She yelled back, "Absolutely not!" We took the dogs upstairs and there was already a LEASE VIOLATION displayed on the door for all passersby to see. Very unprofessional the way she approached the situation. It was like she was having a bad day and just wanted to take it out on anyone. Not very dog-friendly at all.
Good afternoon Jessica, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would be happy to further discuss all of your concerns when you are available. We are normally available 7 days a week with exception to some holidays. Kind regards, FLATIRON Management

Original Post below was 10 months ago as of edits on 2/11/21. Since then the management chose not to address the robbery issues by installing cameras (or even fake ones) and just a few weeks ago there was another string of robberies and management just sent an email reminding people to report to the police and they're not responsible. Not to mention the countless packages that go missing from the package room which people post on the community board about all of the time. OG Post: It's a shame how poorly managed this place is because the finishes are really the nicest in the area as far as apartments go. That being said, I've lived here for 6 months and have been robbed twice now. The first time, my storage unit was broken into and several thousand dollars items were taken. Although apparently this happened to several others in the community, the management office chose not to proactive reach out to residents and instead we found out by going to visit our unit one day and seeing that it was ransacked. We were told that they only informed residents who had visible damage to their units (obviously to save face). Just today, we discovered that our (locked) vehicle has been broken into and the contents stolen. When I expressed my concern and anger to the leasing agent, she asked if I wanted to get started on my lease termination paperwork. These robots have no semblance of decency or humanity. I can't wait to get out of here. SAVE YOUR MONEY. PS - walls are paper thin Update as of 2/11/21: It has only gotten worse here at the flatiron. Dog piss everywhere, including the hallways, garages, elevators. Residents actually encourage their male dogs to pee on the corners in the parking garages. It's disgusting. And there are GIANT piles of dog poo all over the lawns outside of the property even though there are plenty of bags and waste stations. People who live here are downright dirty and gross. Walls are still paper thin. I am top floor but every time someone walks down the hallway it sounds like a heard of elephants. I couldn't imagine living here with people above me. Fire alarm situation has gotten better. They were going off randomly a lot for a bit which was great for my fearful dog (and taking calls from home) but that seems to have subsided. I've noticed that the property manager likes to respond to complains and throw the fact that people renewed their lease as some sort of proof that this place isn't so bad. We renewed our lease due to the housing crisis and once we have a new home, we will gladly pay the $5k to terminate. Can't wait actually. Please stop with the condescending tone, it really isn't helping your overall look. The people who really deserve to be celebrated here are the cleaning and maintenance teams. They are absolutely amazing, patient, responsive, and kind. If I could reallocate every leasing agents salary to one of them I would.
Good day Andy, Our team is thankful to you for sharing your feedback and for choosing to make FLATIRON|Domain your home. Kindly, Brenda Gaines

Love it here at Flatiron Domain. Love the location, people, accessibility and accommodation. The leasing center staff also makes you feel like you are part of a Family. Feels like home away from home!

So much to say, I'll start by saying that the staff has (mostly) been extra certain to smile and present themselves as sorta nice people. The building layout is killer but some of the construction is mighty questionable. Hardly any of the other tenants have said a word to me, smiled, or even waved back. There are a handful of other radical peeps in the building but I feel like the snooty majority dampens their glow. I sometimes work a blue collar job as a structural welder, and I get dirty. When I come home from a construction site, you wouldn't believe the way people treat me. One Tennant yelled at me while I was waiting on the elevator telling me she didn't feel comfortable letting me in... All because I work for a living. That hurts. Its downright cruel. Period. There are lots of beautiful puppies. The snooty folks, high and mighty, let thier dogs do their business any darn where they please. Elevator, hallways, stairways. And just leave it like as if that's the duty of maintenance people( who I've found to be the coolest people within a square mile radius of the building.) Random fire alarms go off. no one knows how to drive. Motorcycles stolen, Peoples cars, in the gated garage, get broken into. Packages, in a room that requires a pincode, in a room that requires a key, get stolen. Often. And that hasn't ever been taken seriously. I had two bikes stolen from in front of the building, the locks were cut. You can hear all your neighbors. Ok I LOVE the little ledges in front of the doors to put your own cute stuff. I love the big windows. Wish I had a bathtub. Everyone goes to bed early. The countertops and backsplash are pretty.
