Marcy, thank you for making me aware of your experience. Im glad that your experience with Leslie was positive and he did follow the procedures. To Matts defense he has been out sick for one week which is probably why he didnt receive the messages if you left them on the store voice mail. Please return the boots to the highland park store and I will notify them to either refund you or replace the boot if we have it. Sorry for the inconvenience. If Matt had gotten the message the situation would have been resolved immediately. My hope is that you will continue to shop at Loris. If you need further assistance, please reach out to me. I have bought several pairs of shoes at Lori's in Highland Park since moving back to town this summer, which is why it disappoints me to share this big customer fail. Last month, I purchased the L'idea (store brand) lug boot at $378. I loved them and wore them for one week. That's when the problems began. The "leather" began peeling off the right boot in two different places. I promptly brought the boots back. The store salesman was very helpful. He said they couldn't just replace them but would send them out for repair and that it would take one week. Nine days later, no word. I called to find them. The boot came back clean and buffed, but you can't do anything about "leather" that has peeled off. At this point I asked for a new pair or a full refund. Again, the very helpful salesperson said he was not authorized to do that, but I should call Matt at the downtown store. I did, twice. And left two lengthy voice messages. I have not had a return call. #CustomerFail $378 boots should last more than a week. Actually, any boots should. I think a store should stand by its product (L'idea is Lori's house "brand") and work with customers to do the right thing. It's too bad. I'd much prefer to buy shoes at a local shop than on Zappos or at a large chain. But, I won't shop here again.
Expensive and poor quality. Bought a wristlet and the store's wrapping paper permanently stuck to the faux leather of it when a few drops of rain got on it. Not worth it.
Jordy, I'm sorry that you feel this way and I'm glad you brought this to my attention. Good luck with your job search. I hope you land something that meets your expectations.

The unprofessionalism is unbelievable here. The constant profanity being used, cell phone usage, and gossip about customers on the sales floor is absolutely embarrassing. From the store owner herself, management, and the sales associates. Also, its not very sanitary. Would not recommend! The store and its operations definitely needs improvement immediately.
