When I visited Action Gear Embroidery, it was to inquire as to whether or not a piece of athletic equipment that I had could be embroidered with my name. I called beforehand, and the owner said that she would have to see the item, which is understandable. I brought the pad in, and she pondered for about fifteen minutes before stating that she could do it, but didn't want to. I understand the importance of keeping one's equipment in good shape, so I accepted her decision, and thanked her for her time. She was very polite and friendly the entire time. However, what bothered me is how pathetic it is that the business (which, obviously, makes its income purely from embroidery; therefore, it should be able to embroider the vast majority of things) could not embroider some simple text onto a medium-thickness pad. If the business's machinery is that incompetent (somebody can do this embroidery because others have it done regularly), I cannot imagine the shop will stay open much longer. How much demand is there for embroidery on extremely thin material?
These people are the best. A family owned and operated within the community. Very reasonable rates. This is the place to go for team uniforms, embroidery, hats and any custom advertising.
Have ordered from Wayne a few times and have always got top notch service. No reservations what so ever.
