This rating is for the Abbvie Patient Assistance Program which is a complete joke. It is run like a sub-standard insurance company that wants to delay and deny or application. I can't even remember all the hoops they made me jump thru but here are some of them. Completed their app, then they needed proof of income, DL. I faxed it. They said they never got it. Faxed 2 more times. Said it didn't come out clear. So I mailed it. I always have to call them for status, they never call you. Then they wanted copies of my prescription charges to see what I was paying. Also sent them a RX from my doctor. Now because of all the delays they said the prescription was only good for 30 days. What? So now they tell me I need a new RX because this expired. My doctor's office sends them the new RX. Never heard from them, I call and they tell the RX is no good because my doctor didn't state on the RX where to rub the topical solution. Are you kidding me?! T/T the supervisor Tommy who kept telling me he would see this thru, but he as useless as the rest of them in that dept. I have finally given up trying to get this thru. This company charges astronomical prices at the pharmacy for their drugs & then jerks you around with their patient assistance program which is suppose to help people who can't afford their ridiculous retail prices. And I have a RX card w/co=pay and I still can't afford it. This program is a farce. I have dealt with Merck's PAP and they are helpful & want to give you relief with the cost of their drugs. Abbvie sucks.
I received a prescription labeled Synthroid made by Abbvie. The pills are drugged. They are not real Synthroid. They cause very bad side effects & are dangerous. They were dispensed by Osco pharmacy in Countryside , Il.60525. I have not found an email for the company yet. I don't know what kind of Quality control Abbvie has for this to happen.
Thank you Abbvie, thank you for helping us through your My Abbvie patient assistance program, we are grateful and very relieved. After my whipple procedure I was told that I had to take a medication, most likely for the rest of my life, because my pancreas did not produce Enzymes any longer. The surgent prescribed Creon which is a brand name drug manufactured by Abbvie to be taken about 8 capsules per day. Our medical expenses were already extremely high, and you can imagine the shock when we learned the cost of this drug. Even though we have Medicare part D, it is a very expensive drug and created a financial dilemma for us. We made a lot of calls, filled out many forms but were denied tier reductions of part D. Finally, my daughter in law suggested that we talk to Abbvie directly. We had to provide more information, mostly relevant to previous medical expenses. Shortly thereafter we were advised that Abbvie Patient Assistance had approved us for free medication for the entire year 2020 with the understanding/opportunity that at the end of this year we have to re-apply. We are very appreciative for the help, it saved us from financial difficulties, and we wanted to share this with whomever is interested. Thank you Abbvie!
