Only one star cause I cant give zero. My washing machine is just out of warrenty but has a small fault so I called to ask for them to arrange an engineer and give me an idea of costs. It needs a new door cause the existing one has a crack on the plastic. they wouldnt process this without sending an engineer to my house and charging 60 plus VAT. I requested that they send the engineer with the new door to save a second visit (Which I'm happy to pay for in advance) but they said that would mean a free estimate which they don't do. This is the 5th or 6th time I've had the unlucky experience of dealing with these people and it certainly means I will never buy a Samsung appliance again. Horrible service.
Hi Jonathon. We're sorry to hear you aren't happy with the service offered. We offer two different services and prices prior to fixing a product; 24 diagnostic charge if the product is dropped off at the service centre or 60 for one of our Samsung qualified engineers to come to your house to do a full diagnostics service on the TV. We do not give prices over the phone before seeing the product to defer from giving inaccurate estimates. Please also understand that the 60 call out charge gets deducted from the 97 labour, therefore meaning the labour charge would only be 37 as opposed to 97. The woman told me the full screen panel of my 43 inch tv would have to be replaced which is absolutely fine and was my understanding in any case. She told me depending on which tv it was, this would dictate the price of the part. Again, absolutely fine no problem. She then said they wouldnt tell me how much the part would cost but could be 200, could be 500 it just depends. So I asked if I give the exact model number could I just understand how much the specific part is? She said they would charge me a non refundable 60 deposit just to give me an accurate estimate?! with the labour being 97 and this woman saying the part could cost hundreds when I bought the tv brand new a few months ago for 349 I think Im being pretty reasonable just trying to understand how much it will cost before handing over 60 for nothing? What an absolutely ridiculous way of operating. Samsung refer us directly to you - you dont need this predatory charging practice. Bizarre stuff. Should be avoided.

The most incompetent company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Back in May they sent an engineer round who came to the conclusion that my TV needed replacing. They then forgot to attach my proof of purchase when sending the report to Samsung. Ever since then I have been calling (probably 15 times) begging them to get Samsung to contact me. Each time I get assurance that this will be done as a matter of urgency; 8 months later they have still not managed this. I have never been contacted by Samsung and this can only be put down to their failings. Additionally some of the phone staff are rude and dismissive. They will not give you decency of contacting you themselves, as "those systems are not in place" or they are simply "too busy" to do this. How difficult can it really be to phone someone or email to update them on their case? If Samsung refer you to this company to get a repair under warranty, then all I have to offer is sympathy as your appliance will not be getting fixed or replaced.
