Scam third party business that practices unscrupulous methods when it comes to billing customer accounts which are cancelled in relation to gym memberships at various franchises like Retro Fitness and Planet Fitness. I was unable to cancel membership to Retro Fitness gym in Astoria, NY. I mailed the certified letter as per policy and cancelled at Astoria location. As instructed in the contract, I have mailed a certified letter to ABC Financial indicating my desire to cancel. See USPS 70202450000106173057, Delivered 12/29/2020 7:43am NORTH LITTLE ROCK AR 72124 . I also cancelled in person at the Astoria location on 12/27/21 and received a receipt. I then emailed ABC Financial supplying a copy of the receipt as well as informing them the membership was cancelled. ABC Financial ignored both requests despite the proof provided and are trying to bill me for a cancelled membership! Luckily, I never use my debit or credit card at any gym due to the prevalence of the scam artists and organizations. I used an online virtual account and pre-loadable visa card. Throwaway cards of you will. Upon paying my last month and cancelling. I immediately closed these account so I could not be billed. One even lets me lock the card so no one, not even a merchant can charge me. ABC is a garbage and fraudulent company. AVOID them at all costs and protect your money using virtual accounts.

Terrible customer service. Ruined my experience with a local gym by continuing to bill me after I cancelled. Totaling up to over $459. I've been emailing for 4 months to get my money back and have only received $300 of it. First few months they said it was sent again and wait 10 more days, I proved that didn't happen and now they're saying it was mailed to me back in march... So first their records say it was sent by card, now they say their records show it was mailed... Who gives part of a refund to a card, and then mails a check for the remainder?!?! Leaving a review because I'm still emailing to get back my money, but because I almost left my gym a negative review from this experience so I decided to give the correct company the review.
