In addition to the PE uniforms that I purchase at this store for my 2 boys, I also bought a hat and 2 visors during my last visit approximately 2 months ago. I have worn the hat maybe 15-20 times and one of the visors 1-2 times. About 2 weeks ago I noticed the color (maroon) on the hat was bleeding through under the bill (grey) and through the letters (white) on the front. Note: The hat has not been washed yet or otherwise been wet. This to me is an obvious defect in the product. I brought the hat into the merchant to be refunded or exchanged for a comparable product that wouldn't develop a defect. The store 'manager' responded on the first visit that he would reach out to the manufacturer to see if anyone else had experienced similar issues. This, I thought, was irrelevant but nonetheless went along. 4 days later I returned to see if a resolution has been reached. It had not. The 'manager' responded that the manufacturer could not do anything. He said he would have to 'eat the hat' to resolve the issue. Apparently this was not an option. I left the hat with the merchant along with my name and number in case 'eating the hat' becomes an option in the future. I will NEVER use this merchant for any future business whether it be screen printing or other services/products. I can get big chain merchants (Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) to stand behind their products and provide better customer service. Hopefully others will read this review and choose to direct their business to other local, big chain or internet stores.
