I had a kitchen designed and fitted by Lambert Welch Kitchens. The kitchen is great but the process of getting to this point was disastrous. The problems lies with Kate. She is not a good project manager. She does not communicate with her own sub-contractors or with my electrician and builder who were preparing the space for the fitting. Consequently, things were delayed and went wrong. One example of this was when her partner went on holiday with my spare key so the sub-contractor fitting the glass splashback couldn't get in. There were countless problems and all the workers involved found her extremely challenging to work with. I am being very polite. If anything goes awry, Kate immediately refers to the Ts and Cs. This makes you feel that she cares only about covering her back and not getting the best outcome for the customer. "Could you help with disposing of the packing material please?" "I must refer you to the Ts and Cs that show that this is your responsibility". "Hmmm, thanks." My kitchen was fitted 3 months ago but I am still waiting on the built-in waste unit for under the sink. Kate agreed that she had overlooked it and would sort it out. But she has been paid in full so I have heard nothing from her. I would avoid Lambert Welch kitchens. It really isn't worth the hassle.

Lambert Welch supplied and fitted my beautiful kitchen and I am extremely happy with it. Both Kate and Tom have a wealth of experience and knowledge that was of vital importance to me when I was looking for both the kitchen units and design. Kate produced many different versions of the layout of the kitchen until I was completely satisfied. It did take quite a while and during which time, I did not feel at any time I was wasting her time. When we finally agreed the layout and the type of units I wanted, they were supplied and fitted on time and without any problems. Kate is extremely professional and is very patient. She willingly pointed out potential problems or areas that may not work well which I would never have thought of. I was extremely appreciative of her advice and guidance as without it I would not have received such a fabulous kitchen. I would definitely recommend them.
