We recently opened an account here, and went to deposit a paycheck from Smith's Food and Drug. We were told that they needed to place a 2 day hold on the check. Fine, I thought, no big deal. We are now 5 days out from when they placed the hold, and it still hasn't been released. We called customer service and were told that the hold would be in place until July 19, two weeks from when it was placed. On top of that, they are now trying to charge an overdraft fee even though we have the money in the account! I understand temporary holds, but placing a two week hold on a check from a gigantic national corporation, and then charging overdrafts because they didn't release the hold when they said they would is absurd. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I highly recommend you do the same.

Told me my car payment was taken care of the for the month, when no money was taken out of my account, I told the person I was speaking to multiple time it was odd for it not to show the payment being taken out, next month came and I talked to someone and said that the payment was indeed not paid for, I called multiple times to fix my direct deposit and it took me reaching out to the ceo to get this taken care of, it lowered my credit score quite a bit not making that payment, if you ever get a car loan don't go to this credit union specifically. It should have been taking care of a while ago and it shouldn't have shown up on my credit that I didn't make a payment cause I had the money to make it and I called it shouldn't fall back on me just because employees that work at 2 to 3 don't know how to do their job right.
