They deserve such a negative stars. NNCHRB doesn't just allow but participates in criminal activity, assault, break ins and harassment of tenants. Stand up for yourself and get victimized for your entire tenancy and even after you leave. I stood up to NNCHRB and have become a 4 year victim of community mobbing by them and it gets worse and escalates. Don't bother going to police they're on the corrupt side
I lived in a beautiful apartment at The Plaza at 4th St for 16 years. Great management and maintenance. Then NNCHRB bought the Plaza and it became a slum overnight. Elevator in A building down half the time. Owner temporarily relocated tenants for a month while replacing appliancesand trashed apartments in the process. Remodeling lower level, so construction trucks & equipment take up parking lot and block sidewalk access. Jackhammers and saws on roof even on Saturdays, falling materials. Keeps security doors open during day, which allows people who dont belong there to trash building. Repairs not made unless you give written notice. When I brought ADA deficiencies to owners attention in a public forum, he said, if its not convenient, move. How can a mobility-impaired person move without an elevator? He seems to think that he has no obligation to tenants other than providing four walls and a roof, and that tenants in affordable housing should be grateful for such a bare minimum. Drive through the parking lotif you can get past the constructionto determine if youd want to live there. No on-site manager, so tenants must pay rent at a sister property which has variable and inconsistent hours. Rent checks often misplaced. Emergency phone calls not returned. I cant say one good thing about NNCHRB. I finally gave notice and left. (Access blocked during move.) Most of the remaining tenants cant afford to move so theyre stuck in a deplorable situation.
Northern Nevada has advertising about helping people live better lives...... sorry to say but that is not even close to what they advertise. The office at Plaza on 4th Street apartments is closed due to renovations but even if a messaged is left they never return a call and maintenance never answers their phone. If you do rent here make sure to take pictures of your "renovations" or ready for "move in" apartments as nothing is done. Nayeli their office staff lacks to inform the residents that the apartments are no where near ready to live in. Hopefully someone in this apartment does something to improve their apartments. Or just get a better staff to run the apartments!!!!!
