Sally Howell of Burlington Capital is the most unprofessional property manager you could ever hope to never have to deal with. Worst of all is that her manager, Kevin McKeon, enables her repeatedly abrasive, rude, dishonest, and value-wasting behavior. As an owner of a condo at Regis in downtown Omaha, I was mortified to hear that when residents reported seeing a bat in the building and common areas, that Sally attempted to force a pregnant board member into dealing with the matter because Sally herself couldnt be bothered to deal with itbecause the $17k-$23k per year Regis and its owners pay Burlington isnt enough to deal with things, right??? Then, when I attempted to follow up with Kevin McKeon regarding the matter, I found he had preemptively blocked my number. He and I had spoken previously because I required assistance in getting a replacement door and elevator fob. Mine broke and I could not get Sally to issue me a new one, even across three requests over 30+ daysand I had even mentioned my hip dysplasia and artificial joint being critical factors in my need to have a new fob. Burlington Capital is a crooked business and full of greedy people in nicely pressed suits...bought with the money they scam out of unassuming property owners. Seek out a property management company that actually cares and will actually do the job they are paid to do. As for their other lines of business, I cant speak to those. But I can only assume that if upper management allows some parts of their business to run rampant like this, then its likely the other business segments are also filled with unscrupulous characters. After all, its called corporate culture for a good reason.
I feel as if this company is absolutely terrible and does not care about its renters/clients based off how I have been treated at Oakwood trail apartments, I am not one to leave reviews let alone go as far as leaving a review in this matter.... this was my first experience in an apartment and I will forever have a bad feeling about ever renting one again, I am young and feel as if I was taken advantage of.... If anyone in the corporate office would like to reach me feel free to as you should have my number on file!!!!!
I live in a community for seniors in VA. I love my neighbors, but feel they don't always get the respect they deserve. Our oldest resident turns 96 in June. She has lived here for 23 years. Her arpartment has never been painted nor her carpet changed. Yes 23 years. I wonder if anyone working for management lives in those circumstances. Another two neighbors have had leaks in their apartments for greater than a month. The one on the second floor has had her spare room ceiling fall down. Nobody from management or maintenance offered her any help to empty the room. Fortunately she has a wonderful daughter and neighbors who helped. That's beee going on for 3 weeks. These are seniors for goodness sake.
