It is a shame that this organization would not let overly qualified dog lovers adopt the dog of their dreams. The goal of these organizations are to put animals in the best homes and give them better lives. But to deny an individual who is more than qualified to have the dog, but because of a certain bias they have against the individual is irresponsible and should not have that types of power.

This is an amazing group! I have adopted, fostered and volunteered for this organization and cannot say enough good things about them. They all have full time jobs (outside of the rescue) and spend what little extra time they have caring for animals, rescuing animals in severe conditions, going through applications and trying to match each dog with the RIGHT home, not just any home, which as a dog foster I appreciate that. Some people may get angry that they didn't get to adopt a dog but the adoptions coordinators work closely with the foster families to make sure they know the best situation for that particular dog. You may think you have the perfect home but it may not be right for every dog. We love each and every dog we take into our home as fosters and only want the best for them and I am confident when it comes time for them to be adopted that they're going into a great home. I highly recommend this group if you're serious about adopting or fostering. And I would like to add to just be patient and understanding if you've put in an application for a dog. Things move a slower than just going to the shelter and taking one home that day and I hope you can understand why that's a good thing.

Highly recommend this Rescue Group! They are a caring, kind-hearted group who puts the animal's needs first. They have saved numerous animals by finding them loving, forever homes! These people are truly Angels!

There is a woman thats in charge here, her name is Anita, and shes very difficult to work with. I told her that I recently found out I had allergies and I was looking for a hypoallergenic dog. There are many breeds that are hypoallergenic. She was very rude, said good luck we dont get dogs like that. And when I saw two dogs a few days later that fit what I was looking for, she said I wasnt a good fit. I cant get her to answer my calls.
