I like that its local thats it. Only boot store in bastrop but I rather go to boot barn. Small selection of belts, boots dusty and cobwebs everywhere. Ive been there a few times and every time no one asked if I needed any help. Ive worked at a western wear store and we always dusted out boots!
Hi Richard - We focus on two primary pillars in our business - great products that folks want, and customer service that is friendly and helpful in assisting you in finding your perfect pair and quickly resolving issues if they should arise. Unfortunately, no matter how deep we go in a handmade style of boots (and we went deep on that style as we anticipated it to be a best-seller), somebody has to buy the last size in-stock, and sometimes that happens before the online inventory can update. Unfortunately, you ordered on the afternoon of the 23rd of December on our busiest day of the year in-store. Although our online inventory updates several times an hour, there are rare times that an items sells in-store either faster than it can be removed from the shelf for an online purchase, or times when an online purchase happens just as that item is being purchased in-store. We are building up our inventory to avoid these things, but no matter how deep our inventory is - if a style is popular enough, the risk is there. We design the vast majority of the handmade boots in-house, and your particular pair was a very popular style. I hope our team explained that those boots can be made, but its about a 14 week process. We understand your frustration, and we apologize that we did not have the item. We certainly appreciate how much you wanted the boots, and your impatience to get them. Your refund will be processed quickly. If we can reserve a size 10D in the All Amercian Hornback Caiman for you, let us know. If we can help in any other way, please reach out. Again, we apologize for your frustration in purchasing a pair before our system could update. Marc Conselman - Owner, Texas Boot Company.

This company is a joke. They don't have any inventory. If you see something you like, they will email and say they don't have it. A complete waste of time. And still charge you for several days.
Thank you so much, Mandie! We greatly appreciate it!!! So glad y'all stopped in.

Took my niece Susan from Arizona to Texas Boot Company in Bastrop ,I buy all my boots from there ,I'm like a prospector in a gold mine in there, its my favorite place to buy boots ,it has the best selection of boots of any place I know and I told her it was almost like going to the Riverwalk in San Antonio, of course I'm a Boot fanatic and if you've never been to Texas Boot Company in Bastrop tex ,you've missed a great Texas adventure
Thanks, Brittany. The week after Christmas can be a tough week to find Kids boots. We are expanding the store by approximately 7500 square feet - you may have seen the large area to the left of our counter that is almost ready to start moving into, and that will definitely relieve some of the cramped quarters in the kids section, but that is helpful feedback, and we're sorry we could not be more helpful in options for your kids this week. We hope you give us a try in the future, and you can always shop online (with free shipping and free returns on boots) for boots delivered right to your door to save the trip.

I hate to leave a less than satisfactory review but there was not a big selection for our littles and the boots were pretty expensive. There wasnt an in between. Our babies are at the stage that we just wanted boots for them to wear around the house and out in our pasture knowing theyll grow out of them but boots for our girls (sizes 11 & 2) ranged $145-$175 and the narrow isle for the toddler boots made it where we couldnt get by to look for our toddler after waiting 15 minutes :( there was a couple occupying it and we tried to burn time looking around but yet 15 minutes and the small isle was still occupied. Its a narrow isle with a seat for fitting boots right in the middle so it was no getting around or down the isle. We drove 45 minutes to them as we live in a very remote part of a rural area and winded up having to go further into Austin to Cavendars. However I will add the Womens section seemed to have an impressive variety of boots!
