Never seen the Detroit zoo look so ragged. I was very disappointed. A lot of empty exhibits as well.

Very disapointed , dirty , face masks on the ground, straws old food ! Walkways crumbling and pot holes over priced food all the icecream spots and lower priced food courts closed . animal habitats over grown some animals seemed skinny . overall very very disappointed!

Very fun free Senior Day on June 1st 2022. Got to watch the gorillas and chimps being fed, volunteers available for questions. Penquinarium opened. Also had coffee and cookies on arrival with members of several healthcare for seniors. Good day.

Wish I could give this more stars as the were some very nice and knowledgeable staff. However our visit was ridiculously expensive. We'll make the extra drive to the Toledo zoo.
