Hi Rob, I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed in our service and merchandise, but you do not come up in our system as a recent customer and our welcoming staff has no recollection of you entering the store. As we are professionals who take our service and merchandise very seriously, we're always trying to provide the best product possible. We consistently work with some of the most respected vendors in Italy as well as in the states. The majority of our merchandise is unavailable at other clothiers, and we exclusively import our clothing. We at JT Ghamo wish you the best. Thank you for your review.

Dear Gil Sierra, It disheartens us, as a family-owned business that caters to a wide range of demographics, to hear that your experience and consequential interpretation of us as a business is both unpleasant and misguided. Unfortunately, you chose to post a review as opposed to reaching out to us directly. If you would have called or even pulled one of us aside to express your perception, we would have informed you that we do not provide celebratory beverages to customers regardless of the occasion. The group of individuals you observed asked us politely if they could celebrate the occasion and, following our permission, provided their own beverages and glasses to celebrate. As a family-owned business that is a staple in the community, we take pride in having a diverse customer base whilst also having several employees and family members from various ethnic backgrounds. With reference to your apparently rushed experience, we hope you can come to understand that your party was stopping by to make a payment and just pick up an order that had already been completed earlier in the day; to be clear, we even opened our doors for your grandchildren's father, well before store hours, to accommodate them. We believe you will be able to distinguish between the focus needed to provide assistance to new customers versus the assistance required to finalize payments. We hope you will reach out and find solace in our explanation. We are taking this review seriously as we believe, after watching the recording of the events, it does not accurately reflect the situation that transpired. We have made several attempts to reach out to you. Please contact us at your earliest convenience so we may resolve this situation and the resulting review, which we know is inaccurate and have even discovered that it has been compounded by a review of an anonymous profile, as soon as possible. We're also uncertain of the harm you may be causing the community at large by posting such unwarranted remarks about a business that you have had very little interaction with! In the future, we recommend that you truly take your time and investigate us a bit more thoroughly and ask customers, the community, and the people that benefit from our presence in the Greater Hartford area before you attempt to disparage a local business that has been embedded and in love with the area for close to 40 years. so my daughter and i rented tuxedo's for her children, my grandchildren, this weekend for a family function. i accompanied her to this establishment and was a little surprised that there was a group of white people being wined and entertained as if their function was elaborate while they basically rushed us out & were immediately ready to take our payment from the moment we walked in the door, minus the wine offer of course. it's just the little things folks.... actions speak louder than words. watch who you hand your money to. this place clearly catters to one crowd
