My husband I frequent TJs and my husband enjoys the fish tacos. This trip I requested fried oysters, which has been accommodated in the past but not this time. So I had the fried shrimp which were too salty, 2 had the veins fried right under the batter, I was missing my salad and when it arrived after reminding the rude server it was so garlicky it was inedible. I had to ask twice to have my drink refilled. This was definitely a bad experience. We will stick with S&D Oyster House as they never disappoint.
Michael - we're so sorry there was a miscommunication. What we were trying to convey to you with a smile (hidden by a mask) was that the answer is 'yes" to anything you request - want something from the dinner menu during brunch? All you have to do is ask! Sorry if that didn't come across in the tone it was intended. Look forward to seeing you in for that Fish & Chips soon :)

Didn't have the best experience wanted fish and chips which showed on the menu at the door but when we sat down it was not on the menu. Afterwards we were told by the waiter we should have asked why would you ask when you're new to a restaurant. Quality of food was okay ambience fantastic.
Their food is to die for!!! Melt in your mouth deliciousness. The only disappointment was when we finished every last bite on our plates and there was no more.
Great ombiance and great food, just a bit too pricey for my tastes. We ordered the lobster roll and the salmon board appetizer. I was slightly disappointed in what you get on the board which was close to $30. Everything was blitz into tiny hard to manage pieces. They even do it to the egg white and egg yolk (yes separately) it feels like a trick to give the illusion of more food. I personally would've like thinks chopped rather than minced up. The parsley on the tray had no taste and could be replaced with something better like cilantro or mint even. The mincing seems like unnecessary labor for the cook and does nothing visually or taste wise in the end. The lobster roll (hot) was my favorite for sure and actually seemed worth the price.
Had lunch here with a friend both ordered lobster rolls, the meat was so tuff I couldnt eat much of it, and it was pretty bland. Had a side of mashed potatoes and they tasted like boxed mashed potatoes. Not worth $50 per lobster roll, go to Lover seafood and market so much better!
