I had bad experience with this bicycle repair center. A. Does not fix the problem I had; B. Waits couple weeks more than promised; C. Install some broken parts; D. Double charge one service.
I've had multiple had experienced with this bike shop. First I take it in to get my shifters fixed and they break a week later, I take it back in and an older gentleman (far nicer and knowledgable than the rest) realized upon inspection I had received a temporary fix and was charged full price of $50+. Now they wanted to order new shifters and get it fixed up, great, they estimated no longer than 2 weeks. Almost 6 weeks later and 4 phone calls they tell me it's ready. Since then I've gone in, gotten talked to in poor manner, and never received call backs about items I was interested in, I must say I am fed up. Don't waste your money here, plenty other bike shops that will do it cheaper, faster, and have a more friendly staff.
Needed a scooter wheel installed on an m365 escooter. After being told they just would not do it by Bike Live/Trek I called main line and the gentleman was polite, explained it was difficult but hed be more than happy to do it. It was a quick process and I appreciated the advice. My official shop for any biking/scooter help.
I've gone here a few times in the past year and I've had nothing but trouble. Perhaps I keep getting the guys that don't know what they're doing, but my maintenance did nothing, and last time I came in to replace my chain and get some air, the chain is OK, but one tire is missing the cap and the other tire has not just gone flat, but totally messed up, I have to replace the whole thing. I'd much rather go to Cadence in Manayunk.
