Fish was ok batter was a bit wet inside .. chips were decent .. waitress asked if we would like water said yes and never came back with any . Got presented with the bill without even asking for it and also not offered dessert menu . Also pretty expensive for what you got .. peas should come asstandard . But not at Bertie's 3.50 for peas . Decent enough but would not return

Will not come back to this restaurant due to gender and racial discrimination. The waitress of our table seems to hold discriminatory attitudes towards Asian females, as if we cant talk for ourselves. I felt like being treated not like a proper customer here. Even though I have tried to engage conversation with the waitress, she seems to be more interested into talking to my partner (white)(enthusiastically laughing and makes jokes) and deliberately avoiding an eye contacts and any conversations with me. If being an East Asian women means we cant talk for ourselves and being treated equally, I have no tolerance for the racial and gender discrimination acts in this restaurant!

Good food but experience spoiled by cutlery banging noise made by the waiter near by our table almost saying it's time for to leave. Tip added to your bill automatically not expected that.
