We are sorry that this rebuild was unsuccessful. We have a very high success rate with this module type, but occasionally we encounter one that we cannot fix. This is usually due to the failure of a chip in the module that we cannot get replacements for, as they have not been manufactured for many years and new-old stock does not exist. In this particular case, we also did not have any available replacement units so our only option was to refund your money.

I did not have the best experience having my Audi A6 ABS unit repaired here. I feel like I was lied to to cover up their mistake/neglect. They are telling me my ABS unit pressure sensor broke during transit from THEIR repair facility back to me. They offered no resolution for their error, claiming it's not their fault the item broke during shipment despite the fact that they packed and shipped said item. So they fixed my ABS unit but broke my pressure sensor when sending the unit back. I would not recommend them. If they claim they are not responsible for their own packing and shipping, then your pressure sensor may "break in transit" and you'll be out another $800 to fix it like I am.

Hi Andrew, We very rarely see this type of instrument cluster, and we had never encountered one with this level of physical damage to the trip meter mechanism. In this particular case, our tech lacked the experience to attempt a repair, for fear of destroying the trip meter altogether. We felt the best option was to return the cluster to you as is and refund the cost of the rebuild. We are happy that you found someone else who could help you!

I sent in an instrument cluster for a 95 Corolla that had a broken speedometer and trip meter. I was called after inspection and was told that it couldnt be fixed without further damaging the cluster. I spent approx $100 in shipping to be told that the tech couldnt fix it ( the customer service was good and polite however). I took the cluster to another company once I got the cluster back. They were able to fix it like new. I believe the tech is more savvy at the electrical level than the mechanical level. You may want to consider that based on whats wrong with yours.
