On March 28, 2022 my husband and I had a contract from Niagara Hardwood to install a new hardwood floor from the Maine Traditions Pro Series line. We gave them a deposit of $2478, with a May 25th install date. On April 20th they called and told us there was an error on the invoice and it was going to cost more. We were both upset, but agreed to give them $500 more then the agreed price. On April 22nd they left a voicemail telling us they were canceling our job due to large back order from the manufacturer. We then called the manufacturer sales representative and was told there was plenty of the material we needed for the job. My husband then talked with owner and his words were "$500 wasnt enough to make on the job." So they lied to get out of the job. Take my experience with them and use your best judgment.
