I loved the staff there like family and yeah it was dysfunctional but they were all around great people. The contracts, depending on where you went, could be okay but needed to be better and Id like to have seen training keep going to advance not only the security side but also LEO side. I was thankful to know the range was always open if you needed trigger time just so long as you asked and brought it to someones attention in HR. Uniforms were comfortable and the equipmentwell depending on who you talked to you either got good gear or had to buy your own cause someone gave you a cheap holster but at least it held the sidearm. The biggest thing would be training of everyone all around needed to be continued and advanced because the security/ law enforcement field is ever changing. At one point though the contracts got way too dangerous and the people getting hired definitely didnt care or didnt pay attention to what was going on around them. If there was a chance to save the company, get better training, equipment, better contracts, better people who actually cared about their work, the. this company wouldve surpassed Allied Universal or even G4S. But now.its almost unheard of unfortunately. Again, great people but it just didnt work.
So I see two of your officers driving down the street and one of them is talking on his cell phone and the other devices to stop way past the white line in the intersection? You Walmart rent a cops are a joke.
North State Security Group provided armed and unarmed security for a building I previously worked at. Their officers were always professional and properly attired. I did get a chance to see them in a couple of altercations and they always acted professionally. I had one direct altercation. I had to go in after hours (around 2am). They were respectful and asked why I was there. It was one of their armed patrols. I explained why I was there and presented my credentials. They verified everything I was easily on my way.
