We leased a propane tank from G & B Energy and were on the auto fill program which means they visit periodically and fill the tank full and charge our credit card automatically. It is a vacation rental so we are dependent on the honesty of our service providers because we are often not there to confirm service. After the last auto fill, there was a 5 week period with no charges and then we had a credit card charge in the amount of $276.97 . Our monthly average cost prior to that was $102. (vs. $220 for a month where we only had someone in the house for 15 days) We called the company saying that we suspected a leak in the tank. A tech came and sprayed the tank, was there for about 10 minutes and claimed there were no leaks. We were not convinced, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. On May 21st 2021, after having closed the tank for the season 3 weeks prior, our credit card was charged for $145.25. On June 30th, we had another charge in the amount of $57.78-this after the tank had been closed and no propane was used at all. At that point, we knew something was awry. Either there was a leak they failed to diagnose, or they were arbitrarily charging our credit card. I asked them to stop doing the auto fill at that point and we hired another company to replace the tank and service it as of the end of December 2021. Important to note that we did not have a fill since June 30th of 2021 and did not need additional propane at all throughout the 1st half of the winter. When they picked up the tank just a week or so ago, there was still about 40 gallons in it which is valued at around $160. After pickup, they again charged our card without consent for $90.05. They stated the remaining propane was not sufficient to cover their costs-a tank pick up fee and "pump fee"-they charge the customer for pumping the remaining propane in the tank so that they can then sell it to someone else. Not a fan of this company and their practices.

As mentioned in your other social media review of us, we had an on call driver in route to your home to fill your tank as soon as we realized that that our error allowed you to run out of propane. One of the benefits to being on our Auto Fill program is that we have emergency service and drivers on call 24 hrs in case something like this happens. Since you are on our Auto fill program, you were not charged any additional fees....as you mention above. We had you back up and running in in a few hours and are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced.

Imagine you are a 90 year old woman on a fixed income, you thought you were on auto-fill, because of a lack of communication in G&B's office, your tank doesn't get auto-filled. Your gas runs out and G&B says you need to pay an extra $250 for them to deliver gas, all because of a clerical error in an office that keeps normal business hours, DO NOT GET G&B, shop around. They are nice up front but their lack of technological prowess and lack of flexibility in "off-hour" situations means they will leave you cold.

G&B has been a great gas provider. Clifton, our main delivery person is the best. He is professional and careful of our property at all times. Chris has come to deliver several times and he is just as well trained, polite and friendly. We have been to the office several times and the staff was knowledgeable and professional. We will be a loyal customer.

G&B provides great service! A couple of years ago, I switched from another propane company. G&B has continually provided wonderful customer service both in the office and in the field. They have also installed a gas stove for us and did a great job all around with that. I hope to work on a tankless water heater next. Really recommend them!

I had a great experience with the sales agent that took my order on 10/18/21. I had requested a call ahead of delivery so that I could make sure my dog was put up and I was told that would not be a problem. All I was told is that the delivery would be the following week. @ 8:16 this morning I received a call G&B with employees talking in the back ground and laughing and cutting up... Then Nancy picked up staying her headset was not hooked up correctly. She then proceed to ask if anyone would be home and could pay for COD... I explained that I was working today, and I had hoped to have a call before delivery to make sure my dogs were up. Well this is your call, and today is your delivery day, she grumbled. We were too busy to come yesterday, so you were moved today, and the driver does not have time to call you ahead of time. lol.. she put me on hold and then came on the line to suggest she had moved me to next Monday November 1st. We are just too busy, and everyone is too busy.... That puts me out two weeks from order. I called Blossom and they told me that my delivery will be on Thursday and I need to make payment the following day by Credit Card. No problem. Great communication from the start.
