Possible new applicants for future residents, please see this review and consider again submitting an application to live in 101 West End. The West side elevators are constantly being broken down at least once every two weeks. There are 3 elevators that are available for residents living on the west side from 4th floor to approx. 40th floor (keep in mind, that there are at least 10 units each floor). Almost every other day, the 3rd elevator is being used by residents moving in or out, so we would have to use the 2 elevators that are left. We received an email 12 days ago from today stating that the elevator is down, and received another email YESTERDAY that the elevator has been examined today and need parts to be ordered in order for it to function again, which will take another who knows how long AGAIN. Moreover, I do agree on the other reviews where the new Dermot management doesn't take any complaints or issues that are brought to their attention (Jon: building manager, and Sara: property manager) seriously. They are super slow on anything you need to get followed up from or in general, and sometimes, they don't reply back to any emails. Another issue is that they are not allowing residents to use any of the amenities. I was informed upon my move-in (May 2020) that they will be finished with construction renovating the amenities late August or the first week of September and here were are in October and there are still no access to any of the amenities. No updates given from management. No questions answered.. No reservations to use the amenities, or rules such as 50% capacity were provided.

Great Apartment Building to live in!! I have been living in this building for many years now. The staff is amazing and I wouldn't want to live any other place. The neighborhood is extremely convenient to all of Manhattan.

No. I didnt move into the building. I paid my application fee, was approved and then all the terms and promises changed. Basically, they are crooks. They also own 21 West End Ave. The leasing agents there may be even worse. Avoid if you can. I am so angry that I decided to stay in my current building. Thanks for nothing 101.
