We have been a customer of Bulling Metal Works for going on a decade and Im recently reminded of what an asset they are for our work. Our designs always have some very rigorous conditions of satisfaction and Bulling has met them every time. While having all the high tech machinery and tooling required to do virtually any machining or metal fab work, what sets them apart is their communication, skill and attention to detail. This work requires a degree of artisanship in addition to technical skill to get the best results, and they are also top notch in this regard. The owner, Walter, has gone over every job and detail, big and small, with me personally in order to avoid any potential issues we may have overlooked and to ensure the best outcome. He is one of those rare individuals for whom no detail is too small. We have never had anything other than perfect outcomes with our work here and the prices are more than competitive. I cant recommend them more highly.

Bulling Metal works did a great job for me. I had a very complex steel gate that I was making that had dozens of cuts of various shapes and sizes. Walter Bulling helped me select the steel and he cut the gate perfectly. It was an ornamental gate that needed to be 100% perfect and it was. His price was more than fair. I called three metal shops in the Bay Area. Walter was the first to respond and gave me the most confidence. He is very easy to deal with, fast to respond (and get the work done). He gave me a tour of his shop and the machines that do the work and it is very impressive. I strongly recommend this business. Its a one of a kind operation where the owner is an expert, has high tech equipment and impeccable customer support.

These guys have very capable machines and they do great work. I had some 11 gauge (0.120) mild steel laser cut for a personal project. Walter was quick to answer my emails and his quote was competitive among the 6 other places I reached out to. The laser cut edge quality of my parts was amazing. Which came as no surprise after I discovered my job was cut on a million-dollar machine! Its a cnc machine that does both metal punching and metal laser cutting. I snapped a photo with Walter in it for scale. Bulling Metal Works also does a lot of sheet-metal work. Cutting, breaking, forming, you name it. Im totally impressed with the business and very jealous of the shop.

When we had a last minute mechanical failure on a piece of our equipment and other machine shops had 3 week lead times, Walter was able to fabricate a difficult stainless steel design in under a week. His work was within a tighter tolerance than we had even hoped for. Would highly recommend Walter and his skilled team. Thanks!
