I have to say we were totally shocked by the service we had gotten from both Jay, who sold us the cabinets & Carl, the installer of the cabinets, from Venture Kitchen & Bath, throughout the installation of our kitchen. But I am getting ahead of myself... We were in the process of building our home & one of the first things we took care of was planning the kitchen. I knew what I wanted so, for the most part ordering everything was easy. The sales pitch was great & we had what seemed like a friendly relationship with Jay. We would get in touch from time to time during the process for one thing or another & all was fine. When it was time to install the cabinets we met the installer Carl ~ we were surprised that there was only one installer to put our cabinets up however, we were reassured he does this alone all of the time. This was the end of the friendly relationship as it were...cabinets were split when installed, nails were sticking out from some of the cabinets & the island, crown moldings were too short leaving gaps, cabinet doors were hitting the counter top & oven even after I was told they were adjusted. To this I was told "The average customer would be fine with the cabinet doors the way they were," & that I was just being "TOO PICKY". Excuse me ~ for the amount of money we paid for the cabinets & install I don't believe ANYONE would be fine with doors hitting counters & ovens & becoming dented as a result. Also, we were assured in the beginning, we would be getting the "perfect kitchen for us" so I guess I didn't think I was being too picky!!! Not to mention the mess that Carl left behind!!! Plus, this took weeks ~ some days he would be there for a short while & leave then other days he wouldn't show up at all. With all that being said, they decided NOT to finish our job & emailed me that they felt it best to have someone else finish up. So there you have it ~ but this is only our experience with Venture. Who knows, maybe Jay & Carl were just having issues at this time in their lives & that is why their service was less than stellar. We hope if you decide to use their services you have better luck!!!
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They do not stand by their products and do not help you at all when something goes wrong with their products. Our cabinets were under warranty and we purchased them from Venture Kitchen and Baths. Our experience purchasing them and designing the kitchen from them was pleasant. Then within a couple of weeks, the cabinets started peeling and this got worse and worse. The hinges of the cabinets became loose and my husband had to tighten the hinges every weekend. When we called Jay to explain the problems we were having, he told us that they stopped dealing with the supplier, "Pioneer" and we would need to contact them with our faulty cabinets. We were shocked that Jay did not help us even though this was within the warranty. We contacted Pioneer ourselves and and it took a whole year for Pioneer to finally respond and replace our cabinet doors. We are very disappointed with Venture Kitchen and Bath. They do not stand behind their products. Beware of this company please.
I was extremely happy with my kitchen remodeling project (2013). I spent about two months reviewing options and making selections. The actual tear down through completion time was just under 5 weeks. The coordination between various contractors and suppliers was very smooth with no delays. I highly recommend this company.
Very knowledgeable, thorough, and incredible attention to all the details that go into a project like ours. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a conscientious remodeler!
Thank you!!! I love my new kitchen. Jay was a pleasure to work with and his recommendations look better than I ever imagined.
