These jeans were altered over a year ago. I cannot guarantee that a belt loop on jeans will withstand normal wear and tear for that long. This customer demanded that I repair them for free and that I stop everything that I was doing and fix them. This was an unreasonable request.

I had several pair of designer jeans altered by this establishment. I had them taken up near the belt loop in the back. At some point, I noticed the belt loop on three different pair of the jeans had begun to unravel. I took them back to the business in hopes of getting the issue resolved. I was told that it would be two weeks for the repair. I said, Ok; I would have hoped that It could have been sooner. I asked to speak to the owner to see if there would be a charge for repairing the defective craftsmanship. She said, Its probably just normal wear and tear; so, I would have to charge. I said, Each pair of pants are defective in the exact same spot where you did the alterations and none of the other belt loops are affected. I would think that you would guarantee your craftsmanship. I was then invited to take my business elsewhere. As a result, I decided to take her up on her offer. I would advise you to do the same!

They were able to customize two different patterns for our family reunion. The t-shirts were a huge hit! Staff was awesome and didnt complain that they had to ship to Oregon!

Wendy monogrammed a florist apron I got for my daughter for her business. It turned out beautiful! I'm so happy with it. I have used By George previously for alterations and they have all turned out great. I happily and highly recommend!

1. I was complimenting her, she does look very young. 2. We typically have a 2 week turnaround on formal dresses but during prom season, that can stretch to 3 weeks. 3. When you drop off an item at our shop, you are given a date to come back to pick it up. We do not call to remind you. 4. I offered to take her straps up more. 5. This dress had a complicated hem and took several hours to complete. 6. I gave her an honest price and then reduced it when she complained about price. An estimate was never asked for. I did tell her up front that she had a complicated hem.

There are many reasons for this 1 star- 1. When I walked in to drop off my bridesmaid dress, the woman said, Oh what high school do you go to? And I informed her that I had a college degree and was not going to prom. 2. They had my dress for 3 weeks. 3. They never called to tell me my dress was ready like they said they would. 4. When I went to pick it up and tried it on, the straps werent taken up enough, but with it being the week of the wedding, I have to deal with it. 5. She initially wanted to charge me $100!!! There was never an estimate given, and she said that was my fault because I never asked how much it would cost. 6. I ended up paying $80. This place is a rip off, and instead of owning up to anything, the woman blamed me for not asking for an estimate. This was a very expensive learning experience for me, and I will never go back to this place.
