Staff are quite rude when dropping items off to donate. Dropped a lot of things in here and have never once got a "thank you", just a "oh right, put it over there"

Twice now I've tried to donate here, checked on line to make sure it's open, low and behold get there and its all locked up and in darkness. As one of the others reviews when you do donate there I don't find the staff particularly pleasant. Please St Michael's do something about this, you are a worthy cause and people want to give to you. I ended up taking my unwanted clothing to British Heart Foundation. Please don't advertise that you are open when you're clearly not.

Tried twice to donate over the past year (so not just in Covid times). Both times staff have been abrupt and rude. Much nicer volunteers in shops run by other charities so will not donate to SMH shops again.
