I had used Leisure Time before to install a pellet stove. During that time we had amazing service and no issues. So it was an easy decision to use them again when we elected to buy a gas insert for our living room. The install was a nightmare. The contracted installers stated that this was his first time on his own doing this. That made me feel a little unsettled but thought that he is obviously certified or competent enough or they would not use him. We were very wrong! The insert was installed incorrectly, forgot to install the conversion kit, which caused an internal fire inside the stove. This fire damaged the interior refraction panels, rocks and glass. When we called to express our concerns it was answered with its normal to see black until the oils and initial unto us broke in. This lasted for extra weeks. The break point was when we began to smell gas. We called the gas company and they arrived immediately to report or stove was not installed correctly. To top it off when the state inspector came over he refused to pass our permit. It also turns out that the metal frame they installed was not large enough to pass inspection. We purchased July 28th and we have been dealing with problems since. Our gas stove passed was resolved Nov 12th, 4 months later! This gas leak put our family at great risk and it was at our expense. Leisure time needs to take a hard look at who they contract with and what they did to place my family at risk. I felt that they have been nonchalant during this whole process. Item 2: when they installed our pellet stove downstairs during the same install it was installed incorrectly, verified by a company employee. The stove does not work and we are still awaiting response from the manager at Leisure time (currently unresolved). These compounding issues are a reflection on management and their decisions to outsource work without vetting the contractor. We had planned on purchasing additional materials from this company but will take our business elsewhere. JR

Horrible customer service. Dont ever use these guys. Show up and dont even knock on the door, they call to see if your inside and if you dont answer right away, they take off. Also, installed something that didnt even work with our brand of fireplace. Had to hire someone else to come out and fix. Not reliable.

Wrong time of year to find good selection of stove paint color. Next order will be available in JUNE. seems like a long wait. Is this he borm now? Long wait for restock at stores in general. Whatsup?
