5-30-22 Opportunity stop and neat little village. The builder of this has long passed (1977) but spent about a decade constructing the village out of stone. It has withstood the elements for that long. The details are fantastic. Love the water tower and what looks like a church. The entrance can be confusing but it is where the fire department is for reference sake. Parking is basically along a dirt-ish road and not on Highway 86. Will add that children have left toys throughout the village and this could use some cleanup. Reality: Don't expect a large area to peruse. There isn't much here and not somewhere I would drive out of my way for. We were in the area and read about it so we made a stop. I wouldn't make this a destination or excursion exclusively for this. If you are on 86 it may be worth a stop for 5 minutes to see. Aside from that, it's something you can live without.

My children loved this quaint little village. Who am I kidding? I loved it too. We stumbled upon it by accident and stopped right away.
