ATM malfunction, cleary this is common with them, which means I cant get my own money out of my account without a days worth of paperwork and correspondence explaining how THEIR machine malfunctioned and deducted money from my account when I went to make a withdrawal but then did not dispense the cash. Customer service representative was not helpful whatsoever in resolving. I am now going to have to find time today to go into the branch which defeats purpose and convenience of an atm. They should credit my money, than deal with their machines, no questions asked...if they find that I am lying (which I was indirectly accused of) than they could take further action, they can cleary see by my account history and information I have been a loyal customer.
I've been with LGE for almost 5 years. I opened an account during college at SPSU solely based on location but it's proven to be to be the best banking experience I've ever had. Before LGE, I'd been thrown around by 3 banks (regions, wachovia and BoA) and after a flustered bank conversation with a friend, I learned of LGE. You can't beat their 1% high interest checking (was 3% back when I opened!) and their over draft forgiveness is amazing when I slip up on the budget. The best part is the speed at which I can deposit a check- quickest has been in and out of the branch in just at 1 minute, and the slowest (peak time around ~4:30p or lunch) it still only took around 7 minutes. If you're tired of banks and their shenanigans, I'd highly recommend you check out LGE. Not only will you be supporting a great company, but you'll never have the worry of bad banking again.
I've never had a problem with this credit union everyone is very nice and welcoming. The Mobil banking app is wonderful as well it's simple to use and well designed.
I have been a member since 2008 and LGE service has steadily gone down. As others have mentioned, if they lock your card for fraud prevention and you are out of town good luck getting someone on the phone to help. I was without use of my card for 2 days because I couldn't reach anyone to lift the hold. Also, I have tried to deposit my a check through their online banking site and its doesn't work, so I tried the atm and again it didn't work, so my wife tried depositing the check and they said I had to be the one to do it. Don't worry about LGE, I will deposit at my new bank.
