I understand that the park is 50 years old, and that is a huge milestone, but when everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, from furniture,rides, concessions. I mean even the general upkeep is beyond outdated it's hard to stomach shelling out the dollars they charge. I was lucky enough to pay $19 through groupon, but when I went, 4 of the slides werent even operational due to obvious structure problems. Sunsplash although more expensive is at least much better maintained and has far more and better attractions. Having fond memories of Big surf as a child makes me sad to see the place in such disarray.

Instead of following the state guidelines and reopen, they decided to remain closed in 2021. Its almost as if they want to go out of business. One star for their unprofessionalism.

Every wave is 5 minutes apart, and i enjoy every single one! Slides are insanely fast that I bumped my head on one, but I was ok. I hope I go back soon.
