Our firm has been representing clients for 30 years in the DFW area. However, in this particular call, this caller would not identify themselves, the caller was demanding that we prepare legal documents for them for them to submit to the court without retaining our office. We can NOT legally give legal advice over the phone. Nor can we prepare legal documents for individuals to use in court unless our office is retained as legal counsel. We tried to explain this to the caller; however, they kept insisting that we should just "prepare legal documents for them to represent themselves". This caller was extremely unreasonable and unwilling to accept the information we were providing them. We are completely honest with everyone that contacts our office. We will never be misleading to anyone. This caller simply wanted us to do as they demanded without any consideration of the ethical and disciplinary rules we must follow.

I called merely to have legal documents drawn up to tranfer my child support case to where both parties now reside by an attorney. The woman who answered the phone said that they handle child support cases in Dallas and neighboring counties. Ellis county is a neighboring county. I didn't even request representation, only the proper legal documents be drawn up by an alleged profession. The lady rudely cut me off and told me that they didn't handle those kind of cases and don't handle Ellis county which is totally contradictory of her stating neighboring counties. I asked why are you guys listed online as child support lawyers if you can't even draw up legal documents? She just persistently said that they don't handle those kinds of cases. What case? I didn't request representation, only assistance with proper legal motions and or affidavits or addendums to. This is a very unprofessional and highly misleading firm, if you want to call it that. Only my experience, hopefully yours won't be as horrid.

This client contacted my office regarding a simple divorce decree that she wanted my office to prepare. We quoted her a flat fee of $750. Once she came in, we discovered that she had filed in the wrong county and filed the wrong divorce documents. We told her that we would have to fix her case and file an amended petition in order for her to have a valid divorce. We explained that it would cost her an additional nonrefundable fee of $500 for the extra services and time we would have to spend on her case. The fees we quoted were discounted over 50% from our standard fees. She wanted us to file immediately. We worked on her case on an emergency basis and spent a lot of time preparing amended documents and preparing her final divorce documents for her to get to her spouse for signature. She picked up her documents 3 days later for her spouse to sign. We did all the work for her upfront as she requested. Two weeks later she contacted my office to tell us that her spouse was arrested and was going to be deported and was not going to sign the divorce papers. Then she demanded her money back after we had done all the work on an expedited basis. We completed all the work she requested at a discounted fee.

Such a ripoff very unprofessional unethical request money up front and does not complete the services. I Paid money upfront and he didn't fulfill hos agreement but keep my money. Money I got for a payday loan tha I had to pay high fees for..very disappointed.

When law offices say they're affordable, you generally have to take that with a grain of salt. They mean maybe that their consultation or hour reate has a slightly lower fee than their competition. But this law office is genuinely affordable and super high quality and professional. My situation was a bit unusual because I'm living outside the US and I have a protective order against my ex. He set it up so I didn't even need to attend a final hearing virtually! And the communication is absolutely excellent. Very fast email response times and he answered all my questions. The few times he was out of office when I emailed, his office responded to my questions. Highly recommneded. Especially for those seeking divorce on a budget. Honestly, even if you're not on a tight budget, this law office is fantastic.
