New Life used to be a good place to shop, but since they, or the city of Bellevue, changed the policy against parking in the marked crosswalk between handicap parking stalls, it is sometimes impossible to get a wheelchair in and out of the building. I asked Steve, Vera, and the Bellevue police officer that was on duty about someone (Steve) that was parked there, and I was informed thought it was Steves store and he could park anywhere he wanted to. And, that those painted crosswalks are loading zones for purchases and donations, and have nothing to do with the handicap stalls on either side. It may be Steves store, but it is my money and I can spend it anywhere I want to.
