Not sure what happened with this customer. I looked over our phone record and did not receive any calls from their number before the call we answered mid day Wednesday. We gave them the quote on the phone and asked them to email in the design so we could setup a proof. This sometimes takes a while depending on the complexity of artwork and our work load at the time. They sent in the art end of day Wednesday. Then got a email from them Saturday morning 9:00 am (we're closed weekends) asking about the quote. We didn't see that email until Monday. This review was also done Monday. Not sure how we could have got back to them sooner. I called and tried to understand how they waited 6 days when it was only 2 business days but they did not want to explain just told us we did not get back to them soon enough.

Called twice and left messages, after the third day and third call finally had someone answer, all i was told was to fill out the quote info on the page and send an email of the pic i wanted on the shirt..... 4 days after that i sent an email asking about it and got nothing back and 6 days later still havent gotten anything back email wise and im writting this review.... Horrible.

This is our second bad review in 10 years. Like the other review the information and timeline of what happened is skewed and misleading. The customer was quoted on Monday and then waited until Friday after we left for Memorial weekend to do the deposit online. They didnt get us files that we could use to set up a proof until Friday also. They then still expected the shirts to be done for pickup on Memorial Day Monday. We are not open weekends and holidays so this left us with no business hours to order the shirts, do the proof or print the shirts before the deadline they expected. We don't order shirts without a deposit. Turnaround times are not started until we have a deposit and approval on the artwork. All this information was emailed to the customer with the quote. We always try to meet our customers needs but in this case we were not given any time to do so. Original review Lack of communication on this shop's end put us in an unnecessary jam. We needed 80 shirts done by a deadline. Since it was sooner than their advertised turnaround, we specifically asked if they could make them in time. Screened Gear said they could meet that deadline. We sent the shirt order and design graphics, and paid 50% of the cost up front. Days later, with the deadline looming, we were emailed with a request for the graphics in pdf format. We sent them, and asked if they'd be able to make the deadline. No response. We called during business hours and left a voicemail (most phone calls were not answered), asking could they please confirm the shirts would be done by deadline. This call was not returned. We got an email the next day saying the order would be done "next week"; not only after our deadline, but still no specific date. At no point did we receive a mockup to confirm that the shirt would look according to plan. With the deadline practically on top of us, an established pattern of ignoring or belatedly answering calls and emails, and no way to know exactly when the shirts would come or how they would look, we had to cancel this order, then make a rush order to a big online vendor. We wanted to support (and positively review!) this local business, but this was just a stressful mess. If you can't do a job on time, please let the customer know more than 48 hours before their project deadline. If I'm willing to throw down half the cost of my order up front, prompt, clear communication about what's happening on your end is not an unreasonable expectation.
