They are really unorganized and to make matter worse, the girl in the front (Anais) speaks to clients with no respect. I was disturbed at the treatment my mother received upon asking the girl at the front desk for her glasses. Im surprised they allow employees to have such a nasty attitude with clients. I dont recommend coming here. I left with a sour taste in my mouth because of the lack of professionalism.
Sorry to hear about your experience Raquel. Here, in Pelham Parkway Vision Center, we take all reviews very seriously and waiting time is an issue we are working on daily. Unfortunately there are so many factors that go in seeing a patient in timely matter, it is very difficult to get the algorithm right, as some patients problem take longer to treat and resolve than others. Yesterday especially ( your appointment date) you were scheduled to see Dr Lisitsyn, who also specializes in a specific cornea disease and fitting of a specialized lens, has been extremely busy with such difficult cases, and waiting time became very unpredictable. Unfortunately there are some cases that set back the doctor on time and it causes issues such as yours. We sincerely apologize. I came for myself and my child for a routine check up. My appointment was for 2 pm and 2:15 pm. I arrived at around 1:40 to have time to fill out paperwork as it was my first time here. The wait was so long that I left. At 3:20 I asked the front desk how many people were in front of me and it was 2 more people! I had already waited more than an hour, and when the doctor called someone, they were with them for no less then 35 minutes. I came looking for a new eye doctor that was not in a traditional clinic because of the wait times, but this was just as bad. Wont be coming back, Ill find somewhere else to go!

I have gone to a family eye doctor for years and have been hesitant to go elsewhere since I just moved. But i was able to get an eye appointment the same day, was in and out within an hour, the cost was great, and the doctors were educated and very professional. Highly recommended! Customer service is a plus as well definitely very loving and friendly they are hands on and take there time , they made me feel welcomed and cared for every question or concern i had they handled very well and never gave me Any trouble .. Ill definitely be coming back !
Jessica, sorry that you had to wait. On your total of 3 appointments that you had with us, it was on Friday and Saturdays. Most busiest days of the week. Please understand that we can only try to be as timely as possible, but certain patients and situations take longer than others, and therefore We, as doctors, can get backed up. We only believe in doing thorough exams either on adults and children, and we also do emergency eye-care; this is what makes us better, different and sought after. However it can cause wait time as you can see. Appointments always go first. And yes there are days where patients go in and out, and there are days we have an hour wait. There are fortunately big projects coming along for us as we are ready to expand and add more doctors on board, but for meantime timeliness can me an issue as there is only so much 1-doctor can do. I've been here for (edit:) three different scheduled appointments and every single time I've had to wait OVER an hour to be seen. I truthfully do not understand what the point in making an appointment is and what's more, I can't fathom the reviews that have indicated being seen in short timeframe. Edit: Appreciate the doctors response to review, and I do understand given the explanation, and think its fantastic that there are projects to expand. I mainly was frustrated by having to wait 75 minutes for my last appointment, then in and out w/ the doctor in less than 5 minutes due to being referred out, but still charged for the visit - understandably, one can imagine how this can be frustrating, which prompted me to write this review of my experience.
